Raw
Something cold, something precise. The city falls away between the first two bites.

The latke is back, with maple kombu. Branzino is on. Milk bread when the loaf is ready. The kitchen writes the rest on the night.
Everything begins and ends with cooking for our guests, not for ourselves. Technique, seasonality, the best possible ingredients — none of it matters unless the plate resonates. If it does not open the eyes a little wider after the first bite, it does not belong.
Since 2026, SARA is tasting-menu only. Lia Silva and Graham Gibbs write seven courses. You do not pick them. You tell us how you eat, then you give the evening to the kitchen.
Something cold, something precise. The city falls away between the first two bites.

Dishes that feel known, then turn. A latke that stops you. A Reuben that should not work, and does.

Pasta the colour of late summer beets. Sweet, mineral, a little wild.

A whole fish, or the idea of one. Heat without theatre.

The kitchen writes this course to the week. Beef when the beef is right. Bread when the bread is ready.

Something lactic and clean. The table exhales.

Chocolate, unhurried. You may speak again. The room is still yours.

Optional, $60 a person. Sustainable, organic, low-intervention bottles from people who still put a name on the cork.
Sparkling
The first cold. It meets the raw.
White
Mineral, for the dumpling and the latke.
Rosé
A hinge. Nostalgia turning toward earth.
Red
For the fire — branzino, held back.
Red
The slower glass, for the week’s meat.
Dessert wine
A last sweetness. Then chocolate.
A great tasting menu should be as welcoming as it is exact. Tell us when you book. There is no vegan Journey at the moment — we are working toward one.
The Journey can currently accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, pescatarian, and vegetarian guests. There is no vegan menu. Tell us every restriction when you book — the kitchen will write the night around you.
No. Other than dietary notes, The Journey is entirely chef-curated. Sit back. Let the house cook. Each course is written to follow the last.
Yes — $60 per person. Wine director Merrin McHugh pours a six-glass arc: sparkling, white, rosé, two reds, dessert wine. Sustainable, organic, low-intervention bottles from small producers.
About two and a half hours. Long enough to be ceremonial. Short enough that the evening still belongs to you.
The Journey seats 1–6. Parties of 7–16 are welcomed family-style, or as a partial buyout. Direct parties of 7+ from RASA here. Write [email protected] or text 416-985-5721.
